June has been quite jolly at the village, especially with the Queen’s Birthday gettogether, with residents gathering in the lounge and sharing nibbles and wine.
The range of weekly activities includes movies on Sunday evenings and some Tuesdays. Fancy a game of cards? There’s the highly competitive Rummikub which meets on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays; plus there’s Monday afternoon bridge and 500 on Wednesdays and Fridays.

You could even join the village’s Wise Owls Quiz Team, which is incidentally heading off to BUPA Glenburn Village on June 12.
Other indoor activities include darts, housie, ballet, art, mah-jong, scrabble, tai chi, yoga and gym.
Theatre is quite popular with the residents here. On June 26, eight residents will carpool their way to the Dolphin Theatre’s production Looking – about loveable losers looking for love in all the wrong places!
If you are looking to socialise, the Village is organising the Roast Dinner Mix ‘n’ Mingle on Wednesday evenings.
Residents who love gardening are welcome to help out with the vegetable garden, which is something everyone is proud of.
Looking at the results, there are quite a few green thumbs out there.
