Distinction distinguishes Camille students

-

The International College of Camille is proud of the achievements of students Rebecca Malkamaki and Irene Wang.

Both achieved distinctions in their recent external exams, with an average of more than 90 per cent. High results such as these are rarely achieved in New Zealand.

The secret to Rebecca’s success is a strong desire to exceed, and not simply pass. She spent years working at run of the mill jobs, and feels like she’s finally found her niche as a beauty therapist, and just loves what she’s doing now.

Originally from China, English is a second language for Irene. She was working at a salon when another Camille student stopped by and pointed out she was doing the treatments incorrectly. Feeling embarrassed Irene immediately decided to take action and become qualified. Irene has exceeded her own expectations and can now confidently perform all beauty treatments properly.

The tutors encouraged both students and helped build their confidence to succeed. They spent a lot of time and paid attention to teaching them the proper skills, coming in after hours so they could practise.

Students who graduate from the 12-month Diploma in Beauty Therapy are able to undertake further study in specialist areas such as IPL, reflexology, hot stone massage, microdermabrasion and others. For anyone who wants to open their own business, the part time Beauty Specialist Diploma is a fantastic choice.

The International College of Camille has been setting the standards in beauty therapy training and education in New Zealand since 1984.
