MEN STABBED
An early morning stabbing in Auckland has left two people injured - one of them seriously. A 36-year-old man was stabbed a number of times on Trafalgar St in Onehunga, police said. A 15-year-old male was also being treated for moderate injuries. A St John ambulance spokesman said the older man was transported to hospital with serious injuries after the stabbing which occurred at around 3am. A spokeswoman for Middlemore Hospital said both men were stable and in a surgical ward. Police confirmed they were speaking with a 16-year-old boy in relation to the serious assault and were not looking for anyone else.
