THE FAMILY: NICOLA KELLERMAN, 31, AND TIM HUNTER, 33.
Kellerman, a stay-at-home mum, and Hunter, a trail builder, rent a house in west Auckland and say the most important issue to them is housing. The couple have a oneyear-old daughter Daisy and want to buy a house to be able to provide security and stability.
Kellerman has always lived in a rental, even as a child, and estimates she would have moved house more than 20 times.
She said she doesn’t see how any middle-class family which hasn’t yet bought a house can afford to do so.
