The National Library of New Zealand is looking for the next top New Zealand Poet. The winner will be awarded a twoyear termcontract, along with an $80,000 grant from the National Library to create and promote poetry across the country. The New Zealand Poet Laureate will be an advocate and public presence for poetry in the country and promote reading and writing poetry events.
