Students show off their music talent
The musical talents of CHB College students were on show at the 62nd annual Fryer Cup music competition.
With individual, small group and full choirs competing for their houses, the set piece for this year's competition was Stand By Me while the overall theme was gospel music.
The competition was held over two days, with the final evening for house choirs and major category winners. Overall winner was Hobson House which also won the Margaret Fryer Cup for house choirs.
“This event gives our talented students the opportunity to perform and show their musical talent. It is a real credit to the students and to our music teachers who do such a fantastic job with music at the college,” said principal Lance Christiansen.
