Waipawa Bowling Club Waipukurau Golf Club
November 6was the first night of four fun Fridays of Bowls 3 Five. Gary Allerby, club vice-president, organised 16 teams of non-bowlers and one week was played before Covid 19 shut it down. But, back in action again, the teams have returned and enjoyed a night of two sets of five ends, plus a tie break if needed. The evening was finished offwith bread and sausage, meat raffles and two Irish raffles. Our little club was rocking, with lots of members helping, lots of mums and dads and their children, workers in their work attire, socks, bare feet and lots of laughs.
