Mud run breaks previous records

This year’s Flemington MudRun had a record numberof runners with 609people taking the plunge into muddy pits, downa giant mudslide and through obstacles.

Organisers say the day at Lake Station was outstandin­g and, despite cold, everyone apperared to be having a great time.

“Wec ouldn’t do it without all of our wonderful sponsors. Thank you so much to all of the generous companies, organisati­ons and businesses that help to make the Flemington MudRun such a successful fundraisin­g event for Flemington School,” said Michelle Miller.

Costumes were encouraged and were judged before they were covered in mud, with Minions on a Rope, Jail Break, Camo Man and Dad and Daughter Super Hero declared the winners. Paula Barrington braved themud splatters to take these photos of the fun.
