Another Shelby GT350?

You say that this is New Zealand’s only genuine Shelby GT-350 Mustang. But I think Mike Morton who owns the Mad Butcher chain owns one.

His has a factory Paxton supercharger. I remember reading a story about it. Same colour etc. Gary, from the Classic Driver website TH What was said in the story in CD54 is this is the only ’65 Shelby GT-350 in New Zealand, one of only 562 built. According to the oracle of all things Shelby, the “Shelby World Register”, the Morton car is a 1966 Shelby GT-350 (one of 2378 built that year) with an automatic transmission. The blower is a reproduction Paxton unit, fitted by Craig Conolly in San Diego in 1993.
