“Examples of this are the inline feeders we have developed for trays of apples and tomatoes, or our cross-feeders for stock cubes,” said Steve.

“The products are automatically fed into trays so they are ready for their next stage of packaging.”

Apart from its Australian built f low wrappers, Emrich also has another home-grown advantage, with Steve’s two sons entering the business and quickly making their mark.

Michael and Matthew Richardson both joined Emrich in 2012, and each has brought valuable experience to the company’s operations.

“Michael has an extensive commercial background that has been very useful in his role as National Sales Manager,” said Steve. “And Matthew has a strong technical aptitude, and this has been of great benefit in his role as Packaging Engineer.”
