Keep those hoses off the dirty floor

Although hoses scattered or stored on food production f loors are considered a workplace safety concern, there is also a hygiene factor to take into account.

“Yet in so many places we see one example after another where an industrial hose is left snaking across an entire plant or just thrown into a corner of the f loor space until it is next in use.

“It all sounds so simple and non-threatening, but it genuinely does cause potential danger by being on the f loor. Storing your hose on a hose reel keeps the hose up off the f loor, clean, tidy, not tangled and always easy to find.”
