Versitron Series Rockwell hardness testers

Bestech Australia’s new Versitron Series Rockwell hardness testers are designed to provide users t he benef its of t he toploading and test surface referencing technology. An exclusive hardness testing system, t he Versitron Series saves t i me by applying both t he pre-load and f ull load i n one test cycle, allowing t he test to be performed i n as l itt le as four seconds.

Distributed by Bestech Australia, t he Versitron Series hardness testing machines are ideal for versatile applications ranging f rom high volume to sampling tests, harsh production f loor environments to laboratories, and awkward shaped parts to precise small parts testing.

An i nherent feature of t he Rockwell hardness tester is its clamping ability, which enables t he user to clamp and hold parts i n place prior to testing with up to 325 Nm torque. The use of clamping i nstead of jack screws or cutting specimens i mproves test accuracy and reduces testing t i me. The removable clamping shield also protects t he diamond i ndenter f rom being struck by t he specimen during handling, preventing damage caused by test samples shifting under load. Key features of Versitron Series Rockwell hardness testers i nclude f ull colour, icon driven display facilitating i ntuitive navigation; test results shown i n large font size for easy reading; dirt and oil resistant display allowing simple cleaning; BT130 i nterface designed to last i n harsh environments; and user-f riendly operation with easy access to on-screen test results.

The entire load system is modular and self- contained within t he test head, which can easily be exchanged to measure different Rockwell scales.

Versitron hardness testers f rom Bestech Australia can have different t ypes of drive options i ncluding standard level actuated drive, pneumatic drive and electric drive. Electric and pneumatic drives can be controlled with a pushbutton or footswitch. Test results can be exported directly to DataView for f urther analysis or as a CSV f i le.

The Versitron hardness testing system is CE marked and complies with ASTM E-18, DIN, EN, ISO and other applicable standards.
