Lubricant-free bearing systems

-

Igus, the tribopolymer and plain bearing firm, introduces the spindle-driven linear axis drylin SLT-BB and spindle linear module drylin SLW25120.

Both models have been developed for machines and equipment used in the food and beverage industry.

The high capacity and lubricant-free operation of the SLT-BB makes it ideal for automation applications, including vending machines.

A minimum linear axis installation height of 20mm and an installation width of 45mm can be achieved thanks to the lateral positioning of the spindle next to the linear guide system.

It weighs only 0.15kg with a manual or motor drive both being possible. Movement can be fast as well as effortless and smooth with a maximum rotational speed of 1,000 rpm and a maximum linear speed of 1.5 m/min.

The low-profile and sturdy design of the drylin SLW-25120 make it ideal for demanding positioning tasks. This spindle linear module can transport up to 1,000 kg radial load, and an axial load of up to 250 kg is possible.

Despite this high loadbearing capacity, the module has a flat and compact design and is therefore easy and flexible to install.
