Smart compact data logger

Janitza has introduced a universal smart gateway and data logger that can be easily integrated anywhere, anytime. The ProData can gather data from all types of energy meters with S0 pulse output signals e.g. power, gas, steam, pressure, and water meters.

This tidy DIN rail mounted instrument can also collect data over modbus RTU from a chain of subordinate Modbus slave devices while being integrated in a LAN network for rapid and reliable data transfer.

Once collected, this data can be sent to cloud based programs for analysis of energy consumption and costs where energy management solutions require accurate measurements and reliable figures.

The internal ProData clock generates precise data and time information for records and events. Even if the external supply goes down, the clock keeps running on its integrated backup battery.

It also features: 15 digital / impulse inputs, three digital outputs, connectable via modbus, weekly timer, boundary value and temperature monitoring, temperature measurement input, Ethernet interface (Modbus TCP, NTP …), RS485 (Modbus RTU, slave, up to 115 kbps), 32 MB flash memory, clock and battery function, 64 weekly timers, threshold value monitoring, modbus-ethernetgateway functionality, Saving of minimum and maximum values (with time stamp), configurable records, and can be read out via RS485 and Ethernet.

Typical applications would be: ISO 50001 EnMS, integrate impulse meters (in range), capture non-electrical values, generate performance indicators, capture status messages, generate alarms, and Ethernet-modbus slave gateway.

The ProData is now one of many essential gateway devices used to integrate into any network e.g. BMS system through direct wired Ethernet connection or alternatively with smart wireless communication for those hard to reach areas.
