URS and Aecom merge

URS has combined with Aecom to become one of the world’s largest engineering and construction firms.

The 20 October announcement means URS has nearly 100,000 employees in more than 150 countries across all seven continents.

The merger means URS has more than 700 employees in New Zealand, with URS NZ being led by CEO Mark Drury.
