DEMM Engineering & Manufacturing - - MAINTENANCE MATTERS -

Wireless systems are changing the way we approach machine condition parameter data collection and will no doubt result in much more data being acquired. Further data interpretation using decision support systems and data reduction methods are able to provide valuable interpretation of the increased level of feedback from machinery.

This will allow maintenance personnel to determine the cause of the failure of a machine or system component, not just change a defective component without knowing why it failed. What engineers are looking for is a system that is simple to install and easy to configure and uses existing knowledge and decision support systems to manage the configuration and interpretation of the data. This will give real value to plant managers in managing plant uptime and efficiency. For more information visit
