event in Victoria earlier this year, apprentices were put through their paces in two competitions: the Plumbing Apprentice Skills Competition and Sprinkler Fitting Apprentice Skills Competition. The six apprentices from Victoria and Queensland used Victaulic NXT check valves, fittings and couplings as they demonstrated their skills and knowledge with a practical demonstration. CEO of Fire Industry Training, Lucas Blyth said that Victaulic is globally recognised for its innovative products and services, that [ trade] was continuing to see more and more of the Victaulic NXT devices in the industry, and “we are happy to be able to base our skills competition on a product that apprentices will recognise once they enter the field.”
