event in Vic­to­ria ear­lier this year, ap­pren­tices were put through their paces in two com­pe­ti­tions: the Plumb­ing Ap­pren­tice Skills Com­pe­ti­tion and Sprin­kler Fit­ting Ap­pren­tice Skills Com­pe­ti­tion. The six ap­pren­tices from Vic­to­ria and Queens­land used Vic­taulic NXT check valves, fit­tings and cou­plings as they demon­strated their skills and knowl­edge with a prac­ti­cal demon­stra­tion. CEO of Fire In­dus­try Train­ing, Lu­cas Blyth said that Vic­taulic is glob­ally recog­nised for its in­no­va­tive prod­ucts and ser­vices, that [ trade] was con­tin­u­ing to see more and more of the Vic­taulic NXT de­vices in the in­dus­try, and “we are happy to be able to base our skills com­pe­ti­tion on a prod­uct that ap­pren­tices will recog­nise once they en­ter the field.”
