Parents - what do you think about Cool? Communities of Online Learning is the Government’s latest solution to overcrowded, under-funded education in this country.

Education Minister Hekia Parata calls it a mixture of ’’online learning’’, ‘‘blended learning’’ and ‘‘more traditional learning’’. Parata also says we need to move into the 21st century with our education system. It’s bold and has come under fire from all sectors. It would be a real step into the unknown plus kids definitely need social interaction (good and bad) as it builds character.

What’s the situation like at your school? Is it OK? Or can you see a real need for a revolutionary overhaul?
