It’s already happening, and there’s nothing we can do about it.

I can’t stand shopping malls, but sometimes you need to bite the bullet and get in, then get out. This week I found myself in this predicament, and I always have a gameplan of the quickest way to achieve my goal. Anyway as I approached the department store, there it all was, there was no escaping. I was smacked with the sight of Christmas - trees, tinsel and the magnet for our credit cards. Should I be surprised that we’re only halfway through spring and Santa Claus is already up in our faces? Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas. But only where it belongs and that’s in December. It seems like the retailers have just skipped Halloween and gone straight to the main event. I was spared the Christmas carols - but only for now. If you work in retail my heart goes out to you. There’s only so much of Snoopy’s Christmas and Jingle Bell Rock a person can handle. Good luck out there, you brave people.
