Helping businesses to connect
Pivot Design has come a long way since being established 17 years ago.
Located at 75 South Street, Feilding, in the Performance Beef Breeders building (PBBnz), Pivot Design is an in-house graphic design studio that initially created design and website promotional material for PBBnz pedigree beef breed societies and stud breeders in New Zealand, as well as printing high-quality catalogues and magazines.
Manager and graphic designer Adele Gray is delighted with the company’s achievements since deciding to branch out to a wider commercial audience and the community. Working with Adele is graphic designer Glenn Morton and website designer and developer Nathan Doyle.
‘‘We have come a long way since it was just me working part-time in our previous office in Kimbolton Road. We saw that there was opportunity to develop and widen our scope of operations and to take on more work to help businesses connect to their clients,’’ says Adele. ’’It is not just businesses that we work with, it may be a club or society that wants to achieve significant, easy streamlining and time-saving processes to get information out there to members in a professional and easy-to-use format.’’
Adele says having the latest technology and equipment, including an inhouse digital printer, means the team can deliver a quality product with a quick turnaround to enable clients to get their business known.
‘‘We work with you to create and deliver exceptional design solutions that best suit your needs and set you apart from others. Good design begins with the requirements of the user and we work within your budget.’’
Adele and her team work closely with clients each step of the way, starting with design concepts, and ensuring that what they produce is going to work for their clients.
Identity and branding needs to be cohesive, says Adele, so Pivot Design creates solutions for marketing and advertising. The list of products and services is extensive and includes producing signage, banners, stationery and merchandise, as well as vehicle graphics. Pivot Design is a one-stopshop when it comes to getting a business, club or society out to a wide audience.
‘‘We enjoy the challenge of working with all sorts of groups, it may be the local rifle club, a small business working from home or a company looking to expand,’’ says Adele. ’’We believe that it is paramount that when you send your information out to the public that the correct branding for your online presence, be it via facebook, email, banners or posters, conveys exactly the image you want to take into the future.’’
Adele, Glenn and Nathan take clients through a process that will assist with getting their products and services out there.
‘‘In today’s world of ecommerce we deliver services that make you stand out from the others,’’ says Adele.
