Kids’ slippin success
The Run, Ride ‘n’ Slide Kids Triathlon attracted children from all over the region as they took to Timona Park in Feilding for some summer fun. The triathlon was for kids aged 5 to 13. The 5 and 6 year olds took to the park to run 300 metres, bike 500m before getting stuck into the water slide. Ages 7 to 9 ran 700m, rode 1 kilometre then the slide. Ages 10 to 12 had to run 1.1km, ride 1.5km and then slip and slide.
