Wow, it’s hard to believe that we are now well into August and spring is on our doorstep.

It’s great to see the evenings lighten up a little and the frost ease on our front lawns.

As we ease into spring and the warmer weather, hundreds of Franklin and North Waikato children will soon be preparing for a highlight on the rural community calendar, their school calf club and agricultural days.

These are wonderful events for the whole family to enjoy and for children to show off all their hard work prepping their farmyard pets and creating their colourful classroom displays.
