Election fever is rife nationwide, and Franklin and the North Waikato is no exception.

It’s certainly been an interesting few weeks in the political world and most of us are probably on the edge of our seats to see how this will pan out come Election Day on September 23.

Franklin County News has invited those seeking election to the Hunua electorate, the Waikato electorate and the Maori electorate, Hauraki-Waikato, to submit a few words on why they deserve your vote.
