For nine years, Pukekohe Pak ‘n Save has been help­ing the aca­demic dreams of Franklin young peo­ple come true.

As we re­port on P5, ap­pli­ca­tions for the 2017 Pukekohe Pak ‘n Save $12,000 schol­ar­ship are now open to lo­cal stu­dents ex­pe­ri­enc­ing gen­uine fi­nan­cial hard­ship.

Since its in­cep­tion, the schol­ar­ship has helped four re­cip­i­ents grad­u­ate while the oth­ers are all work­ing their way through their stud­ies of medicine, law, and paramedicine.

Pre­vi­ous win­ners rep­re­sent a wide range of study elec­tives in­clud­ing science, en­vi­ron­men­tal, busi­ness

The schol­ar­ship is open to all Franklin year 13 stu­dents who are study­ing to­wards their se­nior school ex­ams.
