For nine years, Pukekohe Pak ‘n Save has been helping the academic dreams of Franklin young people come true.

As we report on P5, applicatio­ns for the 2017 Pukekohe Pak ‘n Save $12,000 scholarshi­p are now open to local students experienci­ng genuine financial hardship.

Since its inception, the scholarshi­p has helped four recipients graduate while the others are all working their way through their studies of medicine, law, and paramedici­ne.

Previous winners represent a wide range of study electives including science, environmen­tal, business

The scholarshi­p is open to all Franklin year 13 students who are studying towards their senior school exams.
