Don’t keep blaming the road
‘‘It’s the roads fault’’ seems to be the go to answer for every accidents now a days.
My father and I while going to Huntly got into a discussion about the joy of driving. I told him I’ve lost this feeling, everyone is in such a hurry, tailgating and corner cutting, putting my life and others in danger.
I fear driving now. I live in an area surrounded by people who are willing to kill themselves and their loved ones by driving so fast and unsafe just to get somewhere earlier.
I experienced a ute speed past me in a 50km area only to spook a horse which caused the young girl riding to get thrown off. Another driver in a 50km area, tailgating, sped pass and drove right through a flock of geese and killed the lot - this was awful to see.
Nothing seems to scare these drivers, they will tailgate you
