Cardboard camping

Festival organisers may have found their saving grace with regards to diverting waste from landfill, with these 100 per cent recyclable tents made by Dutch start-up company Kartent. The tents are made from cardboard and are sturdy enough to withstand three days of rain, or if it’s sunny there’s an air vent to prevent the tent from becoming too hot. They can then be reused or recycled. A problem many festival organisers face is disposing of tents that festival goers leave behind, which is not good for the environment. kartent.nl
