Everyone loves a tender, loving kiss. And similarly, we appreciate it when cosmetic companies care about the formulations of their lipstick, which is easily absorbed and – thanks to its close proximity to the mouth – ingested into our body. The delicate skin on our lips is made up of just five layers (less than a third of the layers of most areas of skin) so it makes sense that the colour of our lips is more pigmented than our overall skintone. For lippy lovers, low-toxin formulations have been hard to find, but consumer demand has resulted in a surge of options. Cosmetics that refuse synthetic ingredients and use natural where possible. This selection certainly makes us smile!
