TORU by Te Whare Ra

Gewürztraminer meets Riesling meets Pinot Gris

Meaning ‘three’ in Māori, TORU was the first blend of its kind in New Zealand. Now in its 11th year, it’s a veganfriendly co-fermented combination of Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris. Te Whare Ra winemakers aimed to capture the essence of all three varietals, whilst creating a distinctive and interesting wine in its own right. Perfect for pairing with Asian cuisine, TORU has the aromatic spice and weight of Gewürztraminer, the structure of Riesling and the great texture of Pinot Gris.
