shi-razz or shi-raaz?

In South Australia it’s pronounced shi-raaz, while elsewhere it’s shi- razz. Interestingly shi- raaz is the correct prounciation of the wine-producing town Shiraz in Iran from which Australian wine makers originally took the name. Australian shiraz is also the same grape as syrah.
