The average New Zealand grade is B- which is higher than the international and Australian average. Almost all New Zealand companies received an A or A+ grade for policies. However, the grades for the other four criteria are lower.
Top rating NZ brands
Kowtow and Liminal Apparel topped the class with A ratings. Karen Walker and Kathmandu both scored B+ and AS Colour, Glassons and MacPac a B-.
Top rating international brands
Patagonia, Adidas, Reebok, Cotton On, Zara and Pacific Brands Group (Holeproof, Jockey) all score in the A range.
The big movers Compared to last year, Karen Walker moved from C to B+ and MacPac is up from D+ to B-. Levi’s and R M Williams move from C+ to B+ and Clark and Hush puppies showed greater engagement, improving from F to C+.
