Helping humanity This Extraordinary Facial Oil by Essence of Humanity, $30 (25ml), is aptly named. It’s deeply hydrating and nourishing for the skin, smells divine and 100 per cent of surplus money generated from sales (after production costs) goes to African charity So They Can. A fusion of precious plant oils from Africa (mongongo) and New Zealand (kiwifruit seed), the oil’s light but beautiful fragrance also helps to balance the senses with notes of sandalwood, patchouli, violet, raspberry and cedarwood.

Moisture booster A’kin has refreshed its look and revitalised its range. We’re in love with the Replenishing Antioxidant Night Cream, $45 (50ml). A hydrating formula enriched with organic coconut water and antioxidant green tea.

Skin polisher A two-in-one scrub and mask, Tailor Polish, $35, is the latest innovative product from awardwinning Wellington skincare brand Tailor. It contains 100 per cent natural salicylic acid extracted from wintergreen, bentonite clay and micro pumice granules that cleanse, brighten and polish the skin.

Crystal cleanse Rose quartz and citrine crystals create positive energy in every bottle of Girl Undiscovered Under the Waterfall Crystal Cleansing Water, $39 (220ml). A gorgeous way to remove make-up and rebalance the skin, this potion is infused with Thanaka 8 Extract, wild kanuka honey and Balinese virgin coconut oil, aloe vera juice, coconut water and hyaluronic acid.

Healthy eye shadow It has taken vegan and organic make-up brand INIKA two years of development to work out how to make its Pressed Mineral Eye

Shadow Duo, $44, without harmful chemicals. The new baked mineral range replaces the pots of loose eye powder pigments that the brand originally launched with. Available in seven combinations.

Lip-smacking good We love that Antipodes recently released Moisture-Boost Natural Lipsticks celebrate New Zealand with names like Golden Bay Nectar and Oriental Bay Plum, the latter paying homage to the brand’s home, Wellington. The lipsticks, $34 each, contain pure plant oils including avocado, calendula flower, evening primrose seed and argan nut.

Stress buster As shower buddies go, Only Good’s ‘Clarity’ Natural Body Wash, $9, is a perfect partner. The blend of peppermint, rosemary and green tea will help wash stress away and clear the mind. It’s also palm oil-free.
