Dear Good magazine, I am just writing to tell you that I love your write up about sending letters. I feel inspired to get writing again and can’t wait to try out your templates! Thanks for being an insightful, down-to-earth magazine. Tessa White I enjoyed reading “Crystal Crush” [July/ August] as I like wearing crystal jewellery when I need help in different areas of my life. Your guide was helpful for identifying the various gemstones. I’ve coloured in the Good Thought illustration and hung it up on my bedroom door. And ‘Penned with Love’ was informative. It’s good to see writing a letter is an exercise in mindfulness. Audrey Shepherd (via mail) Your “Penned with Love” article [July/ August] inspired me to do the same with my students so thank you. We used the template to make our own envelopes then decorated them. Four went to locals and one to Ed Sheeran! I hope they all appreciate the effort. Halina Szymanik via Facebook Re “Penned with Love” [July/August], I still write letters to people here in NZ and overseas. I don’t get a lot back, but with each letter I post, I know that I have put time, effort, and love into it and I keep a look out in my mailbox for a reply! I also get my boys (13 and 11) to write thank-you notes after their birthdays and Christmas – they are short, but it is the thought that counts. Tsana Plessius via Facebook Dear Good, I subscribed to your inspiring magazine a few months ago, and slowly but surely you’re rubbing off on me. I now make considered and hopefully far more informed choices of what I put in my and my family’s mouth, on our skin and how I shop. But what is most amazing for me, is the confidence you are giving me to experiment with the recipes you provide. My 11-year-old daughter became vegetarian recently and I now look to your magazine as a source of easy, tasty, healthy alternatives for me to try. Thank you, thank you, thank you :-) Gabrielle Watts, Tai Tapu My sick-day magazines are giving me a subliminal message! I’ve got the flu so I’m taking my doctor’s advice and resting. These magazines will make for great reading during my downtime. I’m just loving them, this is the second issue I’ve picked up and it’s such a fave for me now. I love your content! @lauren.lately via Instagram
