Yogini Nimita’s fun-infused yoga classes help people appreciate just how amazing the body is. She combines her Indian culture and knowledge of the musculoskeletal system to make yoga accessible to any age or fitness level.
“Beauty and confidence go hand-inhand, and yoga can help build confidence in your body. While beauty can be about grooming yourself well and finding products that enhance your features, it’s also about how you feel about yourself: how you hold yourself, feeling good in the mind, having a sparkle in your eyes – those kinds of things are incredibly attractive.
I’m very minimalist in terms of my make-up. I see a skin ‘guru’ every couple of months and she tells me what my skin needs. That’s how I approach skincare, rather than choosing the latest and greatest on the shelf. I’m happy to invest money to nourish my skin on the outside, and I do the work to nourish my skin from the inside. I don’t use perfume, but I make my own body oil with sandalwood, which is used in Indian culture and can provide mental clarity.”
