Dividing her time between Auckland and Christchurch, Connors describes herself as a ‘‘fabulous failure’’.
Entrepreneurial, determined and hard-working, Connors has often held down multiple jobs simultaneously.
She has also endured bankruptcy, domestic violence and depression.
With a background in advertising and marketing, Connors moved to London in the 1990s, working for the BBC and Channel 4, and in the film industry, before founding epicurean magazine Entre´e and publishing house Citron Press.
She was nominated for the Veuve Cliquot UK Businesswoman of the Year Award and shortlisted for UK Publishing Woman of the Year.
Since returning to New Zealand, Connors has turned her
attention to property investment.
She is is a registered financial advisor and has been senior property strategist and principal of Propellor Property Investments since 2006.
Connors is about to complete a BA in Film, Literature and Psychology from the University of Auckland.
