Ultimately these small actions can make a major difference on us as the community of New Zealand.

We are obliged to protect the most vulnerable beings of our communities - infants and toddlers.

Due to the progressive ideas of society, young children were being handed devices to play with.

These devices could be more damaging towards young children and babies. Could the radiation from phones be more damaging to their delicate bodies?

We are so absorbed in the grasp of communication technology, that we struggle to recognise the pessimistic side of it. We also wanted to find out how many of our fellow students were oblivious to the adversity of communication technology.

We conducted a survey with results that displayed that the average student owns two devices and use it everyday usually right after school.

Many of the students were aware of the problems of communication technology but many pointing towards cyberbullying rather than the physical threats of the devices.

We identified that some people are aware of the ongoing issue but still decide to ignore the residing dangers.

Now society is happy to live their life in the virtual world, while reality deteriorates.

It is time that we set healthy boundaries on ourselves and our addiction to our devices.

A balance of life is crucial because without it, the chances of a sustainable future will be very scarce.
