The weather has been amazing lately. Labour weekend was so sunny and the week that followed it as well. It has been a great start to term 4, to be able to get to school in this nice weather, whether it be on bikes or walking and then playing outside after school at the parks and beaches etc.

Waihi Junior Touch started up last Wednesday (October 24). This was a great evening also, with the sun shining on the Waihi rugby club fields, kids from year 3 to year 6 had some good skills going on with the two games played against other local schools. Year 7/8 started up on October 31 and year 1/2 will start next Wednesday.

Come on down and support your kids and schools.

Saturday night skating has started up in the Waihi Event Centre with kids doing Inline skating and scooters. This is on Saturday nights during term time 6pm- 8pm. $5 entry fee includes skate/scooter hire. Thanks to Waihi Miners Inline hockey club.
