Courts get brush-up on perimeter fence

-

Bunnings Whangamata kindly helped Whangamata Tennis club by supplying materials to refurbish their tennis court perimeter fence.

The mesh fence needed a good freshen up as it had become rustravaged and the paint had passed its natural life.

The recently painted clubrooms had further highlighted the need to lift the fence quality. The tennis club’s property officer Mark Cameron thanks Bunnings for the supply of rust neutraliser and rust primer for this job. Kaylah Diamond, the Bunnings Whangamata activities organiser, was instrumental in arranging this supply of materials.

This “here to help“outlook has greatly improved the tennis surrounds. Mark Cameron and Don Mackay completed the upgrade by removing rusty fasteners, stripping off rust and flaking paint and recoating the fence structure.
