Miss Suyanne Groeneway, a member of the Socialists Labour Party, Holland, was the first woman to be elected a Member of Parliament.

The Soldiers Children’s Committee have opened a shop full of war trophies next to Mr Charles in Station St, Hastings. The collection includes a German machine gun, Turkish rifles, bombs, shells, helmets, field dressing and fancy articles. Admission to the exhibition is 6d for adults and 3d for children.
