SFO investigating

The Serious Fraud Office has announced it is investigating donations made to the Labour Party in 2017. The SFO is already investigating donations paid to the National Party, as well as the New Zealand First Foundation. There are also investigations into mayoral funding for Auckland and Christchurch councils. SFO director Julie Read says they’ve made the announcement in the interests of transparency, and in the public interest.
