SHE’S BACK!

-

Five years ago, Robin Reynolds — the girl who made global headlines by dating Robbie

Williams in 2000 — left the bright lights of Los Angeles, came home, fell in love and married Tauranga policeman Adrian Oldham.

This week Reynolds took a step back into the entertainment arena, joining BOP (Bay of Plenty) Actors.

“With experience as a lingerie model, and being cast in small roles in big budget Hollywood films such as Ocean’s Eleven, Robin is now looking to spread her wings further in the fields of TV and film. Robin is doing acting classes with us and auditioning for roles,” said

Tanya Horo of BOP Actors. For a woman who could advise today’s reality stars on how to handle the mad world of media, it turns out being the matchmaker on a reality show would suit Reynolds most.

“Survivor I could do — I am enjoying viewing the Real Housewives with my girlfriends over gin and tonics and we all love Gilda,” Reynolds said, not ruling out an addition from the Bay of Plenty should the series get a second season. “My favourite TV show in America was

Millionaire Matchmaker. Co-hosting that show and matching people up is right up my alley . . . Hosting a show like that would be so natural.”

What she would most love to do is take on action acting roles.

“I would love to be a lead actress in a strong female role, like Charlize Theron in Mad

Max or Angelina Jolie in Salt. Of course the ultimate would be something along the lines of a Bond girl.”

There is no doubt she has the fitness levels to cope, as she climbs Mt Maunganui five times a week.

Reynolds is loving married life and her hubby is quite the hero. Last year she beamed with pride when Oldham, a Senior Constable, received the Royal Humane Society’s Bronze Medal from the Prime Minister for his heroic rescue of a 78-year-old woman in 2014.
