Werner Herzog talks about volcanoes

Into the Inferno Netflix, available Friday Prodigious, legendary film-maker Werner Herzog has made a new movie about volcanoes, but the deeply thoughtful, possibly slightly unhinged, Herzog would never do anything so prosaic as making a movie that fails to comment on the nature of the human soul. He and a leading volcanologist embark on a journey in which they — according to publicity materials — “seek to understand the complex and deeply rooted relationship between mankind and one of nature’s greatest wonders.”
