Strike action

Half of Restaurant Brands New Zealand’s 4000 workers went on strike yesterday after negotiations for a collective agreement broke down. Union members picketed selected KFC outlets in Auckland, Rotorua, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin from lunchtime. The firm operates the KFC, Pizza Hut, Carl’s Jr and Starbucks Coffee franchises.
