When Reg Rye bought a bike three years ago aged 91, few would have imagined it would lead him to one of sport’s biggest events, the World Masters Games. But this week Rye will be at Cambridge’s Avanti Dome competing in two events. At 94, he is the oldest Kiwi in the games. Rye and India’s Man Kaur, at 101 the oldest competitor, show you’re never too old.
