ANNE’S ANNUAL PUSSY PARTY

-

Real Housewives of Auckland star Anne Batley-Burton is continuing her cat crusade.

Her now famous Pussy Galore Party is being held next Wednesday at Juice Bar in Parnell, to raise funds for two charities — her own The NZ Cat Foundation and The Community Cat Coalition. Tickets are $120 per head.

“It will be a fabulous night of fun, where guests have the chance to dress up as a Glamour Puss, a Stray Pussy or a Tom Cat. .

. . or just pay lip service to it if they prefer!” she told Spy.

A who’s who of greater Parnell are expected to attend as well as RHOA co stars Gilda

Kirkpatrick and Michelle Blanchard. Batley Burton said Julia Sloane and Louise Wallace would have been there but will be overseas. No mention of Angela Stone.

Batley-Burton is still purring about her time as a Real Housewife.

“Doors open everywhere and people have been so supportive of the work I am doing for the cats. I had no idea there were so many cat lovers out there! Previously we were struggling to get volunteers for the sanctuary but now we have a lot of great people out there on a daily basis. The media has been incredible and I’ve met so many nice people who care. The show has also opened many doors for my Champagne Lady business with Champagne Jacquart sales booming! What more could I ask for?”

As for the anticipated second season? “We haven’t had any confirmation yet regarding a second series, however, it is now running on two channels in the UK and RHOA has been sold into the US. Supposedly on prime time! Personally, I would have thought they wouldn’t have bought a ‘One Series Wonder’, but we will all just have to wait and see. I’m pretty sure everyone is up for another series.”
