The online travel agent has revealed the most-desired destinations in the world over the coming holiday period, and the results are surprising. In at number one is Guadalajara, Mexico, which is the country’s secondlargest city and is also famous for tequila. Second is the beachside town of Kingston, Jamaica, and the third most-sought-after spot is again in Latin America, in Mexico City. The canal-lined streets of Amsterdam are next, followed by Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, Athens and Montreal. From bustling places to soak up culture to vibrant party towns, it’s got us thinking about how we’d like to ring in the New Year, too.
