MOVIE OF THE WEEK Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Maori Television, 8:30pm Sunday

We all know the Deep Blue Something song from the 90s and that ubiquitous picture of Audrey Hepburn from pillows and handbags. But how many of us have actually got around to watching

Here’s your chance to tick it off and feel like you’ve achieved something with your week. A classic, although some bits of the 1961 romantic comedy are a bit problematic, shall we say, by modern standards. Mickey Rooney as "Mr Yunioshi" — yikes.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s? PODCAST OF THE WEEK

Who hasn’t finished watching one of Netflix’s signature brand of compelling documentaries — or

or — and immediately needed to know more. For those of us who lack the time or inclination to trawl Reddit for outlandish theories or twisted wormholes to go down, there’s now a podcast designed to answer all your most burning questions about whatever it was you just watched.

Wild Country

is produced by Netflix itself, which means it has guaranteed access to the film-makers behind the hit series. They pair them up with a different guest host, usually someone from another podcast —

co-host Lindsey Weber talks to the directors of about what it was like interviewing Ma Anand Sheela, for example, while NPR’s Kelly McEvers catches up with makers for an update a year on from that series’ release.

Being a Netflix podcast does mean there’s a bit of shilling to be done — directors are usually asked what other Netflix shows they’ve been watching, that sort of thing. Although that's not what anybody will be listening for, you have to admit you still want to know.
