Kiwi golfers off the pace

-

Kiwis Lydia Ko, Danny Lee and Josh Geary all failed to advance their cause on their respective golf tours yesterday. Ko was sitting in a share of eighth after her first round in Indianapolis on the LPGA Tour, but after eight weather-disrupted holes, she dropped back to be tied for 23rd, seven shots off the lead. Lee fell seven spots into a share of 52nd at the Wyndham Championship on the PGA Tour, carding a one-under 69 to move to three-under overall, 11 shots behind leader Brandt Snedeker. On the European Tour, Geary missed out on a rare made cut, falling one shot short at the Nordea Masters in Sweden.
