Media blackmail inquiry

American Media Inc, the owner of the

yesterday said it would investigate claims by Amazon founder and owner Jeff Bezos that the tabloid had attempted to blackmail the billionaire by threatening to release sexually explicit photographs. Federal prosecutors in New York were yesterday reviewing the incident.
