THE DESIGN

This space was created for a leading rug company, who sought an inviting environment in which to showcase product, collaborate with architects and designers, and host events, including live workshops – an aspirational, modern design that would provide a community hub and a sense of discovering a real ‘hidden gem’.

The cabinetry’s innovative finishes and details – including planked oak veneer in a custom charcoal oil finish with a hint of metallic flake, an antique mirror splashback and a custom-made brass handle – create striking talking points. Working ovens and hobs, positioned to create continuity along the back wall, enable chef-hosted events.

The beautiful yet functional glass display area features back-lit LED lighting, while the lit wine fridge with a solid oak frame and custom-made wine rack can be used to display sponsor and partner products. An oak table provides seating for meetings. •
