THE DESIGN

Enhancing the architecture of a new, Georgian-style home, highlights of this chic kitchen include a walk-in pantry, a scullery and an extended island that provides seating for five for casual dining.

The balance and symmetry achieved in the rest of the home are reflected in this design, including in the dark-stained timber island that offsets the off-white cabinetry behind it. As well as the chandelier, spot lighting in the glassfront cabinets on the back wall and in the scullery and open shelves creates interest in the evenings.
